Arrest HELB defaulters

ARREST HELB LOAN DEFAULTERS!

It is a very sad message from the Education CS. Amina Mohammed!
According to her, defaulters have jobs but, they've decided not to service their debts and thus the only alternative is to arrest them!
Personally, I wonder what influenced the Cs to arrive at this decision! She tends to believe that anyone who received the loan is working! I know not if she has ever been to the grassroots to see someone who graduated and 15 years down the line, he/she got no job!

Companies' drawers are full of professional CVS dropped in by graduates in the hope of securing a job but end up decorating the dustbins!
Those who are lucky are either paid a meagre salary of Ksh. 7000 esp in Nairobi private based academies and kindergartens!

They are on duty as early as 6:30 am and retire as late as 7:00 pm in the evening!
They have to pay their rent, buy food, clothing and send some tuchuums to their paros back at home! What do they remain with? Nothing but, a new idea of visiting Branch, Tala, M-shwari, Kcb M-pesa and now Fuliza Apps for some easy, fast but bitter cash!

This just to ensure that they got something to hold onto till endmonth!
Others are on Thika road hawking tissue papers, drinking water and mints in the name of #KaziNiKazi just to make the ends meet!

Recently, a group of young men chose to be #HoneySuckers! They move from plot to plot emptying the toilets and using a mkokoteni as a means of transporting shit to undefined destination! Not to mention those underground bank tunnels robbers graduates.

Now that Amina wants to arrest these kind of people, ain't sure whether she has prepared enough cells for the same!
Already some are calling on her to come and collect the certificates they were awarded with on their graduations! They see no significance in them! Others are ready to avail themselves to nearest police stations to easy the Cs' job of arresting them!

Whether the Cs strategy will work or not, it remains to be a riddle!
